I am living in the Netherlands as a highly skilled migrant. I switched jobs in September 2023 and had been benefiting from a 30% ruling for over a year by then. Despite informing my new employer to continue my 30% ruling, they failed to apply for a transfer withing 3-months period. As a result, I havent utilized this tax benefit for over ten months. This month, my employer finally applied for the transfer, but the decision was made effective as of June 1, 2024. I need assistance on whether I can claim a tax refund for the past 10 months.
