Toelichting
I would like couples counseling for me and my husband. We recently had a baby and need someone to talk to to help us through this time.

We have been together four years married one year. We have a 5 month old baby.
We both have ADHD and are having communication breakdowns that result in big emotional episodes. Because we can both be relatively impulsive it can be difficult to navigate critical conversations without escalation.
What could be a normal conversation can easily escalate into something disproportional to the issue creating a cycle that feels unhealthy for the both of us.
We need support in recognizing when one of us is becoming overwhelmed, how the other can identify this happening and be supportive in a meaningful way without a big fight first. We have come a long way in our relationship in having healthier disagreements, and quicker resolutions, but also need some outside support from a professional.
