Advocaat gezocht voor problemen rondom huiselijk geweld

Toelichting op de werkzaamheden:
I am a 3rd country national holding a Daueraufenthalt EU from Austria.
I am a domestic violence victim, divorcee and having sole custody of my son, 2.5 yr old Austrian citizen.
I was first registered in Groningen in March 2019 as Temporary using my Austrian address, I was given a BSN #.

During my many visits since then I met someone and we made plans to be together, he is living in Nieuwegein 3431RH. My son was registered at the gemeente in August 2019 BUT I was sent to the IND without explanation.
After learning from the IND that I needed a reason to be in the Netherlands, my friend stepped in as a partner sponsor and we submitted an application to the IND.
2 weeks later I received a letter confirming the application. And that I can remain in the Netherlands until December for an answer.
No further information was received since then.
My friend called the IND in August and he was told that his income might be a problem unless I am also working.
I have since then found and placed my son in daycare.
I have found a Temporary job.

My relationship has ended because my friend had neglected to tell me that he is Muslim, it doesn't matter to me, however, he is insisting that I convert to muslim along with my son. Many arguments about my "unwillingness" to "do as he says". And me coming from an abusive marriage just will never fall again into that trap.
My daycare provider has advised me to call the IND and inquire about my application because normally I must pay for the application before they start to process it. So on Friday last week I called the IND and was informed that my application was closed due to lack of payment within the allotted period. In speaking with the agent, I understood that the IND had sent a second letter requesting a payment in September BUT I never received a second letter or a letter to make a payment.
So, I don't know what to do or where to turn. Please can/could you advice on how I could/should proceed?
